Fostering
I foster mostly for MAGDRL (great dane rescue) but have also fostered
for tri-state basset hound rescue and delaware valley doberman pinscher
rescue association,
Fostering is very cool--you get to meet and love so many different
dogs.
I've got a page for each foster, so please feel free to get to
know them:
Current Foster(s)
 |
10/09 - present, Oden, a serious dane who's had
a rough time in rescue. Oden needs a family to call his own
and love him forever |

Past Fosters
Here are dogs I've fostered in the past (some of whom have been
foster failures!):
 |
8/09-10/09, Bermuda (Moody Girl), a fun-loving
joyful dane who was the best snuggler and loved to chase squirrels |
 |
5/09-7/09, Drake, a gorgeous, silly boy who loved
to play footsies |
 |
4/09-7/09, Sadie, a sweet happy girl who trusted
her humans to see her through. Sadie was diagnosed with osteosarcoma
shortly after she arrived. |
 |
12/08-2/09, Kitty, sick as a dawg when she came
in, she was a super shy girl who needed a confidence boost |
 |
12/08, Woofy (Mercer), too quickly gone from my
life, Woofy is an awesome, inquisitive, playful girl |
 |
10/08-12/08, Ellie, a frightened girl who didn't
handle change well. Ellie was put to sleep due to temperament
issues in December. May she finally find the peace she was denied
in rescue. |
 |
5/08-10/08, Baby Huey, a special needs boy with
Wobbler's and a winning personality. We transferred him to a
foster home with one-floor living. |
 |
5/08-10/08, Mitsy, a plus-sized girl who just
wants to be with her family. |
 |
3/08-5/08, Wilma, a sweet girl who had seen the
dark side of obedience. |
 |
2/08-4/08, Sharkie, a big ole' headed boy who
was anxious and energetic. |
 |
2/083/08-, Lexi, a silly mouthy girl who loved to play and
run about |
 |
4/07-5/07, Sera. I adopted Sera shortly after she arrived.
She was a perky, happy fawn who had oral melanoma (mouth cancer).
|
 |
10/06-1/07, Daisy Mae. Daisy was a tri-colored BASSET HOUND |
