In Loving Memory
Panda the Princess Pooh Pooh
1998-2006

She was my first dane. My problem child. My heart. I got her as a pup at 11 weeks of age and lost her as a senior of 8 years. She was gorgeous, and generous, and scared, and shy. She was Jamara's Pandemonium Reigns Supreme, Poopy Head, Panda the Princess, Pooh girl, Nutty, Smelly, My little 'da, Lumpy Girl, Gimpy Girl, girlie girl. She was my little girl.

Panda loved the heat and the sun, she adored her stuffies, and was fairly fond of her brother Tonka. She stole butter off the counter when I cooked, and thought peanut butter was the best thing ever invented. She also thought she was very photogenic and would pose for pictures. She was affectionate to those she knew and loved, and concerned about the world in general and how it would affect her.

Panda taught me everything I know about training and behavior, about diet and health, about rescue. She was the reason I joined Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, and the cause of some wonderful friendships. She made such a profound impact on my life. I miss her so.
