A huge and heartfelt
thanks to the MAGDRL volunteers who gave me the gift of a lifetime...
Most of these are holiday shots but there's
another page with pictures from session with CoolPets (www.coolpets.us).
The session was made possible by the generosity of a lot of MAGDRL
volunteers. I was going through a tough time, death in family, health
issues myself, etc. These people got together, and gave me the best
gift I've ever gotten....a gift certificate for pictures from Susan
Dodd at CoolPets. I ended up with a hardback book of 12 prints and
3 framed prints of the pups. And some really excellent shots of
Tonka, who hates having his picture taken and, on top of that, is
a big black dog, so typically I can't get good photos of him.
Scarey Halloween 2005
5 minutes is all I ask of them. It was not
even that, actually. Come on, a disgruntled Tonka is soooo hard
to resist!
The sun went in when Panda the witchy bitch
posed in her spooky costume...

Actually, the costume didn't bother her
much at all.

But we all know that Panda's a witch.
Did you know that my poor, poor Tonka is a...PUMPKIN? Yep. That's
my little pumpkin head.

Yes, Tonka the Wonka Woo-Woo is way too
good for this silliness (obviously Panda's haughtiness has rubbed
off).

After a short few seconds, though, he's
not too good for it. He's sure I betrayed him and he shoots me the
"how could you" look.

From "how could you" to "why
me" in a flash.

When I continue snapping pictures and
laughing my ass off, his mood turns quickly from martyrdom to disgruntled.

And then he just gets pissed...

Ya gotta just love that pumpkin head.
He's just too cute for words!!

Holiday Torture 2003
There's
not much to say except that they get very good treats for doing
this. And they're both wearing their very pretty collars I bought
at the Greyhound Friends Craft Fair

The Wonka
Tonka is too mature for this silliness.

And he wants to make sure I understand this.

But apparently I am set on making him grumpy and
grouchy. Until Finally....

we get his holiday pose! Perfect!

The Pooh
Panda plays coy for the camera. But we all know
the real story....

Yes, she's pretty, and she knows it.

And she's apparently quite bored by it all.

but still full of fun and able to laugh at the absurdities
of life

and when it's all over, she noses wistfully at her
reindeer ears...once again, a shy quiet homebody, no longer the
star of the camera.

Holiday 2002
Panda and Tonka discover the joys of Christmas morning!

And the despair of Holiday greeting card pictures...
